About Nausica

I have been in healthcare industry for more than 20 years. My genuine interest for helping people in their vulnerable times draw me into my Nursing profession., which is also my current job.

I worked in Romania for a Nursing home at the beginning of my career. Running a 23 beds Nursing home, I implemented physical exercise classes for them and other well-being activities as days out in nature or for lunches, etc. along with looking after their health. From appointments to personal care and medication.

In 2010 I moved to UK. Here I work for Allied Care, a residential care home in Romford as a health care support worker for 16 months. My role involved tasks like personal care, feeding, taking them out in wheelchairs for activities. , cooking , etc.

From 2012 I started working for St George's hospital. I have experience in elderly, acute and emergency care.

I believe life is a gift. To value it and respect it is my core values , no matter of age. Seniors are a vital part of community. Looking after them is honorable and rewarding. It is a practical way of gaining wisdom and improving knowledge about different perspectives on life.

Visit elders has been part of my community service since I was 13 years old. I always received great and simple advise that contributed to whom I am today.

I have worked with Nausica for over five years at St George’s Hospital, specifically within the Emergency Department. This is a high-pressure and demanding environment where I have witnessed her care and dedication to her patients, ensuring their safety and well-being is prioritised.  Nausica is kind, compassionate, and reliable. She has the ability to work both autonomously and as a member of the multidisciplinary team. As a qualified nurse, she can translate complex medical information into clear updates for patients and their families, while effectively relaying clinical observations to doctors to ensure everyone is confident in the plan of care.  In addition to these professional skills, Nausica is patient and demonstrates empathy through her verbal and non-verbal communication. She ensures her patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable, even in the most stressful of circumstances. I recommend Nausica for a position as a sitter for older people and believe she would be an asset to any family or care setting.
