Employment: I have over 25 years of childcare experience, starting in 2001 as a Teaching Assistant at Phoenix School, a specialist school supporting children with special educational needs. I continue to work there part-time, gaining extensive experience supporting children with autism and complex learning needs. From 2017 to 2026, I also worked as a nanny and babysitter through Sitters, caring for children from newborns through to teenagers and supporting hundreds of families.

My Team Teach, and Sign Language training gives me extra skills to support children safely, calmly and confidently. Tas came through an agency and we started just asking for her after a short space of time as we were very impressed by her skills, which distinguish her from other child carers. Taslima is extremely honest, professional and experienced child minder. Her personality is so easy going and has the skills to deal with any child using her experience and knowledge. My little girl was so attached to Tas for a lot of the time as she really enjoyed her time with Tas, to the point where she would cry when Tas finished her shift and had to leave. Tas also has an impeccable character. Tas has demonstrated on numerous occasions that she very trustworthy, especially when I have trusted her with my daughter on outings, she always took good care and made sure she kept me up to date with various activities when they are outside. Tas is extremely reliable, she is very committed to the families she services and has shown so many times this through accommodating my requests for last minute child care. She moved things in the diary to ensure she can come and look after my daughter which demonstrates genuine commitment, care and understanding. Tas is fantastic with children and her experience spans working with small children and watching them grow and has genuinely left a very positive impression on my daughter.
